sgraffito in andalucia

During a workaway in Andalucia, with a friend from the same mosaic training, our host wanted to learn about a special fresco technique, the so-called "sgraffito" with lime. We made a fresco on a wooden panel with the material available in her garage: blue and orange dyes, sand, lime and marble powder.

The sgraffito technique consists in putting several coatings of different colors and engraving some parts:  the final coating suggests the color below.
